Dorset Captains v Sussex Captains
Dorset hosted Sussex at a largely dry Wareham. Organisers of both teams worked through a series of challenges leading up to the match which culminated on our arrival at the club to find that the 18th had been closed for Health & Safety reasons. The match was very closely fought with the lead match halving. There were wins for Tony Howe & Stephen Boyd, Neil Paul & John Warer, and Chris Lay & Bryan Howe. That meant the match was halved 3 ½ to 3 ½.
