Dorset Captains v Dorset Lady Captains
Our first match of 2026 was against Dorset Lady Captains at Ashley Wood. We arrived in bright sunshine with hard fairways and firm greens. A stiff breeze made playing conditions tricky. All matches were close. Three were halved, two were won by the ladies, three were won by the men. We therefore regained the trophy which had found a temporary home last year. Special thank you to John Skinner who fought off a back injury and playing with Graeme King was one of the victorious pairings.
