Away match against Gloucestershire

This year the 9-Hole Challenge will be held at Folke Golf Club and this will be both an individual and a drawn team Bowmaker competition, full course handicap, playing in 3-or 4-balls (depending on numbers).

Home match against Surrey

Inaugurated in 1982 to encourage boys and girls aged 16 and under with etiquette and the Rules of Golf. A stableford team competition — highest aggregate of all four team scores wins. Each group supervised by a Dorset Captain.

Here is an opportunity for you to bring a guest to a Dorset Golf Captains' Invitation Day so that you may both enjoy a day out amid the camaraderie and fun of a DGC event.

Home match against Somerset

Bowmaker Stableford in drawn teams of 3- or 4-balls from the yellow tees, with team prizes and individual nearest-the-pin prizes. Enter as an individual — teams drawn when entries close.

Stableford singles for the Les Watson Chalice, plus many other prizes. Stableford points from President's Day carry forward to decide the Harry Roffey Trophy winner.

The annual Inter-counties Team Challenge

Good food, good wine and an after-dinner entertainment. Members may bring partners and guests. Dress Code: Black Tie or Lounge Suit. 7:00pm for 7:30pm.

9 holes of golf available before the meeting. A two-course Christmas lunch follows. Starts at 1.15pm
